    PECOPP’s Cockroach control

PECOPP provides the best cockroach pest control service through a quick, safe, effective, and stress-free solution. Our cockroach control service relies on an advanced odorless gel-bait application to manage cockroaches at your home..

    Our odorless gel-based cockroach control

We offer the most advanced gel treatment for cockroach control at your place. Our trained team applies the gel bait in tiny pin-sized drops at your home, for which you don’t have to stay out of your home or empty drawers and cabinets. Even better, you don’t need to leave your home after our treatment.

Our cockroach control treatment contrasts with the traditional pesticide spray, which made the customers prepare extensively for it and endure the pesticide spray odors after the treatment.

During our cockroach pest control treatment, we apply the odors less gel against cockroaches at their harborage in cupboards, drawers, below kitchen sinks, and kitchen appliances. The gel bait we use is a special safe pesticide formulation to attract cockroaches and kill them after they ingest it.

How does our odorless-gel work in a cockroach control treatment?

Dead cockroaches that had eaten the gel cause death of other cockroaches that feed on the former’s carcasses.

Such behavior of cockroaches feeding on dead cockroaches is necrophagy.

Cockroaches that feed on the fecal matter of cockroaches that have died from the gel bait also die. Cockroaches feeding on feces of other cockroaches is coprophagy.

The death of cockroaches by the effect of gel bait from feeding on excreta of other cockroaches and remains of dead ones is the cascading effect.

Cascading effect of gel bait quickly eradicates all population members in a treated space resulting in cockroach control.

About eighty percent of cockroaches in a colony die in one week after gel baiting, and the remaining individuals die within three weeks.

We complete gel baiting against cockroaches at an average-sized apartment in thirty minutes in our home cockroach pest control treatment.

Our cockroach control Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) at homes includes three services in a year. We provide six services during the contract term at the homes of customers signing up for a two-year cockroach control AMC.

In the rare case that our treatment is less effective than you desired as you find cockroaches recurring at your home, we provide you additional cockroach pest control treatments at your premises free of cost.

    Pesticide spray treatments:

We create perimeter barriers by pesticide sprays around homes and other buildings for effective cockroach control. We alternatively use pesticidesfrom four to five products to prevent cockroaches’ resistance to any one product and ensure effective cockroach pest control.

Duration of Treatment: During our cockroach control, we take thirty minutes to complete sprays against cockroaches at average-sized apartments.

What can you do to prevent cockroaches at your home?

If you make your home inhospitable for cockroaches, there are fewer chances of you finding them at your place, making it easier for PECOPP to ensure effective cockroach control.

Wesuggest that you take the following measures to make your space inhospitable to cockroaches:

    • Seal all cracks and crevices that can harbor cockroaches inside and outside your home.
    • Avoid moisture build-up by unclogging drains and fixing leaks.
    • Soak dishes in the sink overnight with a soapy solution to prevent cockroaches from accessing food residues.
    • Wipe and remove traces of sugary solutions when cleaning dining tables to avoid attracting cockroaches.
    • Dispose-off any unused cardboard packaging that cockroaches favor to lay eggs and multiply.

Troubles cockroaches can cause in your house!

Cockroaches are unique and displeasing creatures (to humans) that have adapted for millions of years to thrive best in a wide range of habitats.

They destroy fabric and paper, contaminate our food, and surfaces they contact, triggering allergic reactions, asthma, and spreading disease-causing pathogens.

Thirty species of cockroaches are associated with human habitats and considered pests, though a few most commonly create a nuisance to the urban community.

Let’s dive into more facts and trivia about cockroaches!

Homes in India most commonly have two types of cockroaches, the German cockroach or Blatella germanica and the American cockroach or Periplaneta americana.

German Cockroaches are the smaller ones among the two, up to 1.5 cm long and living up to a year. They are oval and pale brown; you can easily identify them through the two dark bands behind their head. They occur in the kitchen and dining areas.

American cockroaches are the larger of the two types of cockroaches in Indian homes. They are 5 cm long and reddish-brown. You can identify them through the light-yellow band on the shield behind their head. Adult American cockroaches can fly and live up to two years. American cockroaches occur in basements, sewers, and other damp places around a home.

Thus, it is of utmost importance to know if our house is contaminated with these pests.

    Frequently Asked Questions

Despite pest control treatment, pests may return from the areas surrounding your home. For example, though our pest treatments tackle cockroaches at your home, they do not prevent insects from re-infesting your premises from neighbors, drains, or shopping bags and deliveries.

The time taken for cockroach reinfestation varies by place. For example, we know our customers’ premises remain free from cockroaches for one year after just one treatment, and there are premises where cockroaches re-infest after fifteen days.

Hence, we recommend you get pest control for cockroaches done at least once every four months, like in our annual contract.

Yes. Cockroaches carry disease-causing germs that cause diarrhea, dysentery, and food poisoning. And contaminate food and surroundings by their movement. In addition, cockroach allergens in their skin, dead cockroaches, and droppings trigger asthma attacks in children.

PECOPP uses the latest method of controlling cockroaches through gel bait which is safe for children. We apply minute gel spots through a syringe-like device in cracks and crevices. The gel attracts cockroaches to eat it and die.

Cockroach gel is an edible (for cockroaches) pesticide that attracts cockroaches to eat it and later kills them. Gel insecticide has a cascading effect on the cockroach population as cockroaches feed on the feces and corpses of other cockroaches which feed on it. Gel bait thus helps in controlling a large cockroach population.

The cockroach gel PECOPP uses has no odor, and we apply it to sensitive areas such as electrical control boxes, kitchen appliances, and computers to safely control cockroaches. After we apply cockroach gel, about 80% of the cockroaches die in about one week. The remaining cockroaches also die after three weeks.

The golden principle for preventing pests is to deny them food and shelter. You can fill the cracks and crevices along door and window frames to deny harborage to pests. It would help if you considered replating inflated plywood and broken wood panels of wood that can be an ideal cockroach refuge. Also, eliminate the gap should be left between the cupboards or shelves and the wall where cockroaches seek shelter.

After PECOPP’s gel baiting, please follow the steps below for higher efficacy of that treatment:

    a) If you see a few cockroaches post the service, please do not use a chemical spray, as this will render the gel ineffective.
    b) Ensure you do not wash or wipe off the gel spots while cleaning.
    c) Please keep your kitchen platform and dining table free from food spills, especially during nights.
    d) Please avoid keeping unwashed utensils in the sink or at least fill them with soapy water.
    e) Keep food in sealed containers.
